*President's Suite
President's suite was added in 1992, the year Bill Murray came to check out Punxsy.
Yes, we have a Bill Murray Room too. The suite was two rooms with a wall removed so it is quite
large, has two double beds, a table and two tub chairs, a desk and an easy chair in front of the TV.

Bill Murray's Room.
Bill Murray called February 1, l992 from Pebble Beach and wanted a
room!!!!??!!! We didn"t have one but knew someone who would give up his if
we explained. We had pick to up the Murray party at DuBois airport where every
motel in DuBois tried to pick him up. He remembered the managers name so
came to the Pantall. When he got here, there was a mob waiting and it took
an hour to get through the lobby. Under his door was a note from a young NJ
girl and he took the time to get a Groundhog Postcard and write an
alliterative reply; every word started with Ph(il). He was quite a guy!!!

This room housed Harold Remus the director of Groundhog Day. He and Bill Murray
were both great people, no pretention or arrogance; you would never know they were
VIP's unless someone told you and they wouldn't. Bill Murray was soooooo good to our
children, went out of his way for them.

Our rooms are brand new; there were only a few rooms with baths when we bought the building,
so we had to remodel everthing. We chose light colors because the hotel had been drab and dirty.
The new light colors are very soothing and soft. Even men like our colors. Usually there were
only 6 or 8 rooms done the same. So you get to choose the price of the room and the color if
you are frequent customers here.

We have king rooms but they are rented first, in fact, as a rule our best rooms are rented
first, even though the small rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. All rooms
are very clean and all bed linens are ironed!
